Ron King

Regional Manager — Central Illinois

Ron manages our Peoria and Decatur branches in Central Illinois. In the industry for 30 years, he started part-time doing warehouse work during college, moved through inside sales, outside sales, and then to branch manager. He came to Columbia Pipe in 1997 when he and three other industry veterans helped start the Peoria branch. True to his name, his personal motto is “The Customer is King.” Ron has three adult children and lives with his wife just outside of Peoria. He enjoys boating and spending time on the water. He also rides a Harley Davidson motorcycle—a custom-painted teal and white Fat Boy. A sports fan, he likes to watch the Bears, University of Illinois games, and NASCAR races.
