Regional Manager — Wisconsin Contractors

Based in Milwaukee, Gene coordinates Columbia Pipe’s service to contractors throughout the state of Wisconsin. He entered the industry in 1978 as a warehouseman. His very impressive career path has included: truck driver, warehouse manager, operations manager, outside sales, purchasing, sales manager, and currently regional manager. He started with Builders Supply and joined Columbia Pipe in 1998. A demanding manager, he says, “Excuses get you nothing,” Gene demands service to the highest standards: “My word is my word.” Originally from Boulder Junction, Gene now lives in the Milwaukee area. He enjoys tournament fishing and bird hunting. He has two English Pointers and a German Shorthair that he runs in competitions. In 2007, he had the number three derby dog in the United States at the American Bird Hunter field trials and had two dogs in the top five in Wisconsin.
